Physics trip to Switzerland

Year 12 and 13 students recently went to France and Switzerland on a physics trip. Students saw a particle accelerator and had the opportunity to learn about particle physics allowing them to understand how humans can trace the atom back to the big bang. Additionally, students had the chance to explore CERN control rooms with researchers and complete a day-long scavenger hunt.

“This trip has allowed me to see physics in the real world outside of the classroom at a much bigger scale” – Zoï Otto
